The Abode Retreat Center & Community was one of the first project where I stepped away from my usual  Zen-styled minimalism to incorporate more natural elements and soft forms, such as rolling hills, to create a visually organic aesthetic. The goal was to create a site that was as cozy and friendly as the retreat center itself.
